Teachers Union Boss Comments On Student Punishment Changes [VIDEO]

Red River United Teachers' Union head Jackie Lansdale talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about changes to the state's rules regarding corporal punishment in schools and Caddo Parish's plan to mirror them.

Lansdale explains to KEEL listeners the changes, including the elimination of all corporal punishment for "special needs" students. Lansdale also opines on the idea that physical discipline of any kind should be eliminated from schools in Caddo and Bossier Parishes, as well as across the state.
