Texas Brewing Company Takes Inspiration from the Pride of Barksdale Air Force Base [PHOTO]

The hubby and I were in Houston for a wedding on Saturday and stumbled upon this little gem.

B-52 Brewing Company is a craft beer company that pays homage to the buff with its name. The bar is situated in Conroe, Texas in a beautiful woodsy area.

Everything is outdoors. You can bring your own lunch, or some restaurants will set up shop and feed customers. There are also activities like Frisbee golf, a fire pit, horseshoes, ping pong, giant checkers and more.

We toured the facilities and sampled their brews.

What we loved the most is the fact that these brothers named their company after the most beastly plane in the United States Air Force. Also, their colors are the same colors as the 343d Bomb Squadron, which calls Barksdale Air Force Base home.

Hopefully they will be opening a location in the SBC soon. At least we told them to do so.
