There's been a lot of rumors going around regarding who'll be joining the cast of "Saturday Night Live" this fall, chief among them that an actor best known for interviewing kids in those AT&T commercials is one of the contenders.

Deadline.com reports that Beck Bennett, the star of that successful commercial campaign, has been added to the cast of the late-night comedy show. He's also a member of the comedy troupe Good Neighbor.

Other possible hires include writer Mike O'Brien, John Milhiser, Kyle Mooney and Noel Wells.

They'll have some big shoes to fill in the wake of the departures of Bill Hader, Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis and Seth Meyers, who'll be leaving midseason to do a late-night talk show for NBC.

NBC has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.

The new season of "Saturday Night Live" begins Sept. 28.
