As I sit here in the waning hours of the 2018 Jocks in the Box Toy Drive, I am amazed at what you accomplished.  Carter and I have been witness to some of the most charitable moments, and nastiest weather in the history of the toy drive.  On Saturday, we saw the biggest single donation from an individual.  This holiday Super-family saved the day for hundreds of kids in the Shreveport / Bossier City area!  We saw a record number of kids wanting to donate on their own, with their own money.   It truly is a humbling experience to be a part of this project every year, and every year it gets better!

Workers with Operation Santa Claus, Roy's Kids, and the Shriner's Hospital will be sorting and counting for a few days before we get an official number on the donations, but believe me - it is an astounding amount.  We sent trucks and trailers full of toys out left and right to the eager charities desperately trying to fill Christmas lists before the big day.  Your generosity has made a huge impact on this need.

We will be taking donations until noon at the Wal Mart Supercenter on Airline Drive in Bossier City - Just look for the tent!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this experience.
