Which dish is the focal point at your Thanksgiving table?

We've arrived at Thanksgiving week. Huh? What? Is that a surprise to you? It's crazy to think that we are already getting ready to carve the... the... Well, is it turkey or ham? The more people I talk to about Thanksgiving traditions, the more divided the answers are. For me, growing up we always enjoyed turkey, occasionally ham, and one time enchiladas. Yeah, my mom got sick of being the only one in the kitchen, so she laid out all the fixins for homemade enchiladas and said, "If you don't make your own, you won't eat."

It was brilliant, but completely besides the point.

Different homes enjoy different traditions. Some want an oven-roasted or smoked turkey while other enjoy a succulent, glazed ham. Maybe it's based on price or ease of cooking. Maybe it's based on which dish you prefer to eat for weeks on end after the big day.

So, turkey or ham? Or both?
