The Krewe of Centaur Names their 2017 Mardi Gras Parade Grand Marshals

It's official! Brian Hammons, the co-captain of the mighty Krewe of Centaur, made the announcement this morning that Gary McCoy and Erin Bristol from the Kiss Country 937 morning show will be the grand marshals for this year's Krewe of Centaur parade Saturday, February 18, 2017! Bristol can also be heard middays on 96.5 KVKI!

The Krewe of Centaur parade draws as many as 400K+ people to our area each year and provides a HUGE boost to our local economy. Krewe members consider the 'throws' they give to the community a gift in the form of tourism and (of course) blinged-out beads!

We're still not sure why Centaur picked us exactly, but we're humbled, honored and we're definitely going to run with it! Let the good times roll with the Krewe of Centaur!
