The ‘The Voice”s blind auditions are long done. The battle rounds are now fading into the rear view. The teams have been established and set to the liking of the coaches. The herd has been thinned. As of Monday, April 2, ‘The Voice’ live shows will begin, airing for two hours from 8 to 10PM ET. But that’s not all. The show will expand to a second night, with live eliminations airing on Tuesdays from 9 to 10PM ET.

The news was announced via a press release (thanks, Rickey.org), which also confirmed that the finale shows of the season will air the week of May 7. The last live perf will take place on Monday, May 7 from 8 to 10PM while the Season 2 winner will be crowned during a two-hour finale on Tuesday, May 8, which airs from 8 to 10PM, as well.

So if you are a ‘The Voice’ fanatic, there is plenty of the show in your future. If the third season launches in the fall, which has been the subject of rumors, there really is a lot more of the show on the horizon.

PopCrush readers, which contestants do you think have the chops to pull out the big win? Which coach will do the best job? Sound off and let us know.
