A third suspect is arrested for the 1988 murder of Claudell Staten in south Caddo Parish.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says U.S. Marshal's Service Task Force members in Nevada located 62-year-old Henry Robinson in the Las Vegas area. He was arrested on a warrant charging him as a principal to second-degree murder. He's in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, charged as a fugitive from Caddo Parish. He's awaiting an extradition hearing.

Staten's body was found by a passing motorist on Ellerbe Road north of Robson Road on March 20, 1988. He had been shot several times during a struggle inside his moving car. He was left outside on the ground after the vehicle crashed.

Two other suspects, Robinson's brother Jake and their cousin Will "Roy" Robers Robinson, were arrested in December. Sheriff's Detective Terry Richardson says Roy and Staten were brothers-in-law. Jake Robinson is also charged with the 2004 murder of Harold Bruce Cotton. Jake and Roy are both being held at Caddo Correctional Center.

Detectives believe there are still details available about Staten's murder. They urge anyone with information to come forward.
