What happened to the little girl in Germany who didn't get a pony like she wanted? She didn't pout... Oh no, she did the next best thing. She 'wrangled' a cow into service! LOL I crack myself up... but seriously, this did happen in Germany. Laufen, Germany to be exact but it wasn't really a little girl because she was 15 when she started training her cow to, of all things, jump! Who knew they had the legs for it? BTW, the best line in the story is when they said she had trouble 'steering' the cow. Nope, you can't make this stuff up!

Check out this 'interesting' story here...

Speaking of cute little girls and jumping, I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about the NLEA Hunter/Jumper Show this weekend at Double Rainbow Equestrian Center in Haughton, LA. NLEA stands for North Louisiana Equestrian Association and it is a non-profit organization serving horse lovers and equine sport enthusiasts. NLEA promotes equestrian competition and education in North Louisiana. And oh yeah, I'm on the board of directors for NLEA, so you know it's pretty cool;) Plus, I'll be announcing this weekend, so stop in and check it out. You never know, riding horses just might be what you need to be doing with your spare time. I've always liked to say, "It's cheaper than therapy!"
