Former "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan is in intensive care at a New Jersey hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision.

The crash occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike early Saturday morning when the driver of a tractor-trailer was unable to stop in time when he came across slow-moving traffic. The comedian's tour bus was one of the vehicles involved.

Police say that on person aboard the bus was killed, two other passenger are listed as critical, and one in fair condition.

Morgan had performed a stand-up act Friday night at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino and was on his way back to his home in Bergen County, NJ. An appearance scheduled for Saturday night at the Fillmore Charlotte in North Carolina has been canceled.
