Tresa of Barkus & Meoux Talks Dog Days of Summer [Video]

This morning we got the chance to talk to Tresa Frye, the fundraising chair of the Krewe of Barkus & Meoux about their upcoming event Dog Days of Summer Block Party. Take a listen at the video below to see what you can expect to see and experience at the block party.

The Dog Days of Summer block party will be this Saturday, June 23rd with gates opening at 2 pm. This is a family friendly event and also an animal friendly event. Bring your picnic gear to the old Reeves Marine building for all the fun. Just leave those coolers at home because they arent allowed. There will be food trucks, face painting, kid games, face painting and more. There will also be a pet fashion show with a Pet Costume Contest. BTW this event has free admission.
