Trey Songz has been charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a police officer causing injury following a destructive outburst at his "Big Show at the Joe" concert in Detroit last night (Dec. 28). The singer's mugshot also hit the web to the delight of his female fans.

The Detroit Police Department said Trey Songz became hostile after the venue cut his concert short due to a 11:30 p.m. curfew. Video emerged of the singer warning everyone in attendance that there would be consequences if his set was interrupted.

“If they cut me off, remember it and text whoever you want to and tweet whoever you want to and tell everybody about it,” he said. “Because a nigga cut me off, I’m going the fuck crazy.”

Trey Songz lived up to that promise. Officer Dan Donakowski claims the "Can't Help But Wait" artist threw microphones and speakers with one of them hitting a sergeant in the head. The singer also "struck an officer with his fist causing a concussion," according to CNN.

Gang Intelligence Unit officers were sent out to diffuse the situation. Trey Songz was eventually apprehended and held in custody at the Detroit Detention Center. The singer was arraigned today (Dec. 29) with his bond set at $25,000. As you can see in the video below, fans were waiting outside of the jail upon his release.

Trey Songz is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 5. Both of his charges carry potential jail sentences.
