The first time trick-or-treating in the shreveport-bossier city area was a success!  Tracy, Deacon, and I explored a few areas in the city suggested to me as prime trick or treating spots.  We started off at the Boardwalk where there were tons of people and tons of candy. But it seemed like the lines were getting a bit long, and we wanted the traditional neighborhood experience. That's when we went to the Ellerbe neighborhood, and they have got it going on down there!

The fam and I had about an hour's worth of trick or treating (and some pretty top-notch candy at that).  Then, in true Michael family style, we got lost.  We ended up getting a pretty good walking tour of the entire area, and some extra candy. After an hour of searching for the car, we finally arrived back at our spot. All's well that ends well I say - Deacon got a bunch of candy, we all got a bunch of exercise, and Deacon was knocked out in the car on the way home! Don't worry he didn't wake up when we got home and counted all of this can be so that I can't sneak one out of his bag. I swear, that boy gets smarter and smarter each day, but what he doesn't know is that I bought a bag of candy for myself and the missus. This isn't my first Halloween!
