True Crime: The Pink Flamingo
January 27, 2012 2:14 PM Have you ever been in your house and had an unwelcome visitor stop by? Annoying right? ESPECIALLY when it’s late. You hope they go away … sometimes they don’t sometimes they knock and knock. This lady took it to the next level by knocking with a pink flamingo. But that’s not where it gets weird.
A deputy about 2 a.m. New Year’s Day was dispatched to a disturbance on 64th Avenue. A 65-year-old man stated “Mandy” was banging on the door and trying to get in.
…….The 65-year-old man showed investigators the decorative bird — valued at $10 — busted in pieces. A photo provided by the sheriff’s office depicts what appears to be a ripped off wing and a severed foot.
She was arrested and charged for trespassing and criminal mischief.
Over a $10 pink flamingo and not knowing maybe it can wait till tomorrow. :/
