A Real Life Turtle Raced A Rabbit And Actually Won [VIDEO]

Thank you internet for blessing me with this video today.

We all know the old story of "The Tortoise and the Hare". In the story, of course, the two have a race, but the hare took a nap halfway through, and the tortoise came back to win.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?

Turns out, that's actually exactly what happens when the two animals face off in real life!

At some type of event I really wish I was invited to in Thailand, they had a huge turtle take on a rabbit in a quick 15-ft race.

When they started, the rabbit took off and looked to finish before their turtle got off the starting line. The, all of a sudden, the rabbit just stops. Stops right there and doesn't move at all.

The old, trusty turtle kept trucking along and beat the rabbit fair and square.
