At 8PM last night, I opened my Twitter account. I never imagined what I would see next developing before my eyes as I shut the world off and constantly refreshed my feed.

A shooter made his way into the Grand 16 theater in Lafayette and unloaded 13 shots into the audience waiting to see the movie "Trainwreck." He shot 11 people inside that theater. Two lost their lives.

The shooter ran outside the theater thinking he could still get away, but by that time, the police were near the scene. He then went back into the theatre and took his own life.

Watching these horrific events unfold on Twitter was heartbreaking, to say the least. I wanted to post a Twitter timeline of the events so you can see what it's like from that perspective. Shout out to Hot 107.9 in Lafayette for doing such an incredible job reporting via Twitter all night and morning.
