Twitter’s Brutal Response To Mariah Carey’s NYE Performance, And Her Comeback!

In the annals of bad performance history, there are lots of entries.  Take for example, Ashlee Simpson's SNL debacle of 2004.  Or perhaps, Britney Spears at the 2007 MTV Music Awards.

One thing is clear, Mariah Carey's performance on New Year's Rockin' Eve definitely  belongs near the top of the list.

This was a LIVE program broadcast around the world!  You would think someone would have thought to, I don't know, rehearse.  Now the blame game is in sudden-death overtime with Mariah's camp blaming technical difficulties, and everyone else is blaming the Fantasy-Girl herself.

Regardless of who is really to blame, twitter has exploded with all of its sarcastic rage and it is a beautiful thing to behold.  Like a volcano, or a supernova - it's really impressive as long as you are not in the path of destruction.  I've brought a few prime examples here for your enjoyment.
