Bossier City police are working to identify and catch a pair of burglars who broke into two local businesses and tried to burglarize a third early this morning.

Detectives have released security camera footage of the suspects in the hopes that the public can help identify the bandits.

The men broke into the Food Town convenience store in the 1900 block of Benton Road and Triple J in the 1600 block of Benton Road this morning and stole several cartons of cigarettes.

While at Triple J, they also broke into an ATM and took an unknown amount of cash. Then, they attempted to burglarize Bailey's Jewelers in the 2900 block of East Texas Street, but were unsuccessful.

Security cameras were able to capture video of the suspects, both believed to be black males wearing dark-colored clothing, including hoodies that were pulled over their heads. One of the men was wearing the drawstring of his pants tied around his neck. The two are believed to be traveling in a silver or gray passenger car.

Anyone with information that can help detectives identify or locate these suspects is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4200.
