This closure comes just one week after the company announce the closing of 95 locations nationwide.

It was almost two weeks ago that Ruby Tuesday announced that it would be closing 95 of its locations across the country in September.  With the closings came an initiative to streamline the remaining restaurants and increase the value of the company for its shareholders.

Ruby Tuesday in Bossier City closed its doors permanently on August 15.

According to KSLA, the Bossier location was closed due to its under performance in comparison to the rest of the company.  Employees were notified in an emergency meeting held Monday morning. A sign on the front door now reads, "This location has closed. Please visit us at our Texarkana location... We look forward to seeing you there."

Texarkana is now the only Ruby Tuesday location in the Ark-La-Tex.

Before the closures, Ruby Tuesday has 724 locations nationwide in 44 states. KSLA also notes that the company has offered jobs to employees effected by the closures at locations that are not closing.
