Vin Diesel, who played Dominic Toretto opposite Paul Walker in the "Fast and the Furious" movie franchise, finally broke his silence to mourn his late co-star.

Diesel quoted Thomas Campbell as he posted on his Facebook page, "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die." He continued: "Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now... and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us... on me...I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were... on and off screen."

Diesel starred with Walker in the original "Fast and the Furious" in 2001, and went on to co-star in three of its five sequels.

Production of the latest sequel, "Fast & Furious 7," has been put on hold as producers try to figure out how to deal with Walker's tragic death Saturday in a car accident which also claimed the life of the car's driver, Roger Rodas.
