"Fast & Furious 7" is still headed for a multiplex near you.

Vin Diesel went on Facebook to announce a release date for the latest chapter in the multi-million dollar franchise Sunday, and also posted a picture of himself with co-star Paul Walker.

"The last scene we filmed together…There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released…April 10th 2015!," he posted.

He went on to acknowledge Walker by posting, "P.s. He'd want you to know first."

The film's future was put in limbo after Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were killed in a car crash Nov. 30. The film's studio, Universal, released a statement saying that production would be shut down to give "support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers."
