[UPDATE] Internet celebrity Kai the Homeless Hitchhiker has been arrested in Philadelphia, reports ABC News. He was apprehended by police at a Greyhound Bus station after an arrest warrant was issued for the murder of a New Jersey man.

[ORIGINAL STORY] Remember Kai, the homeless hatchet-wielding hitchhiker who saved a woman in February from a brutal attack in California? And then found Internet fame with an auto-tuned song of his news interview in which he yelled, "smash, smash, Smash"?

It turns out he may have killed a guy.

ABC News is reporting that Kai, whose real name is Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, is being sought for a murder in Clark, NJ. Authorities in Union County have issued an arrest warrant for the 24-year-old Internet celebrity related to the death of Joseph Galfy, Jr., who was found dead in his home. An update to Kai's Facebook page claimed he had been raped by Galfy.

Galfy's cause of death is reported to be from blunt force trauma.

Authorities in Union County are offering a $5,000 reward for information about McGillvary.
