Volunteer For The Color Run And Help The Boys and Girls Club

One of the most exciting 5K's in the world is coming to the SBC this weekend!

That's right, on Saturday, the Color Run takes over the Fairgrounds in Shreveport! For more info on the run itself, please click here.

I'm writing this article with hopes to find some volunteers ready to get in on the action! The Color Run is currently looking for volunteers in our area to make sure the event is a huge success. Whether it's handing out water, assisting with check-in, revving up the crowd at the finish festival, tossing color or cleaning up confetti, the Color Run's volunteers are indispensable.

Here's the best part, if you choose to volunteer, it would greatly help one local non-profit in our area! For every volunteer who signs up, the Color Run will donate $40 to the Salvation Army's Boys and Girls Club in Shreveport! So if they reach their goal of volunteers, the Boys and Girls club will raise over $8,000!
