And the hits just keep on coming. Walmart became the latest conglomerate to cut ties with celebrity chef Paula Deen in the wake of her n-word controversy.

The retailer released a statement Wednesday which read, "We are ending our relationship with Paula Deen Enterprises and we will not place new orders beyond those already committed."

Walmart is only the latest company to drop Deen, following The Food Network, pork manufacturer Smithfield and the Caesar casino company.

Deen delivered a tearful apology on Wednesday's "Today" show, saying, "If there's anyone out there that has never said something that they wish they could take back ... please pick up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kills me."

Can I do it anyway?
