How Is ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ Like Harry Potter?

I'm getting married in about two months, and my fiancé Holly LOVES the TLC show "Say Yes To The Dress." The last time she told me we had to watch the show (to which I said 'yes dear'), I noticed that this show is strikingly similar to what happened to a certain orphaned wizard.

So, what similarities did I see? Getting a wedding dress is actually a lot like Harry Potter's wand finding him.

First of all, you go to the legendary shop that has the goods you're looking for.

Secondly, you get advice from a professional who knows his craft backwards and forwards.

Next, you have to try out a few items to see if they're right or wrong for you.

Finally, that magical moment when you know, this is the one!

BOOM -- you're getting married...or killing an evil wizard. Maybe both; I haven't read the books in a while.
