If anyone knows me, you know I love super slow motion videos.

In fact, if I would post about slow motion videos every single day. Nothing gets me going quite like a super close-up, super slow motion video of every day things doing what they do.

Today, we're taking a look at something we all know and cherish, but don't appreciate enough. I'm talking about America's favorite snack, popcorn!

If you watch popcorn pop in real time, theres not much to see. But when you watch it in super slow motion, the popping action is simply majestic.

A YouTube channel called Warped Perception posted an extreme slow-motion video of a kernel of popcorn popping.  They shot it at 30,000 frames per second, which is over a thousand times slower than real life.
