Earlier this month, Fun. frontman Nate Ruess discussed the plans for his debut solo album while he and his Fun. bandmates, Jack Antonoff and Andrew Dost, simultaneously denied rumors that the indie-pop trio were breaking up in a lengthy post to their official Facebook page. Now, Ruess has revealed “Nothing Without Love,” the lead single from his forthcoming solo LP. Check out the Anthony Mandler-directed video above.

The anthemic track is by no means much of a departure from Fun.’s infectious output, which will come as no surprise considering Ruess collaborated with producers Jeff Bhasker and Emile Haynie -- who also worked on Fun.'s Grammy-winning sophomore effort, 2012’s Some Nights -- for the newly minted track.

“Nothing Without Love” also includes guitar work from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Josh Klinghoffer with backing vocals contributed by Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li.

While Ruess still hasn’t announced the official release date for his upcoming solo debut (it is, however, expected sometime this summer via Fueled By Ramen), you can buy “Nothing Without Love” now over on iTunes. Check out the single's artwork below:
