Way Back Wednesday: Marlana VanHoose Sings National Anthem [VIDEO]

Disabilities? What disabilities? This girl can sing!!

I know this video is a few years old, but I feel like I'm seeing it for the first time. Marlana VanHoose is blind and has autism, but you would never know it. She doesn't let anything slow her down.

And she can sing like a bird!

Seriously, this girl can sing the National Anthem better than, well... pretty much anyone. I'm absolutely inspired by her. It makes me sit back and think about all the little superficial things that I allow to get in the way. We shouldn't let anything hold us back. Not even the big things.

Oh, did I mention she was 16 at the time?
