"The Help"  finished Labor Day weekend as the top grossing film for the third week in a row.

"The Debt", starring Helen Mirren, debuted in second place with a $12.6 million finish. "Apollo 18" came in third in its first week, taking in $10.7 million, while another debut, "Shark Night 3D", tied for fourth with "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", both earning $10.3 million.
