West Nile Virus Is Still In Louisiana!

It's nearing the end of October and while mosquitos are rare in other parts of the country they're still abundant in Louisiana and even worse still spreading the West Nile Virus! Since the end of September 8 new cases have been reported with 8 of them occurring in Caddo Parish.

While state officials say no one has died in Louisiana this year from West Nile Virus several of the cases were very serious infections. Cases are down from last year which at this time were reported at 56 infections and 4 deaths.
