Where To Go In Shreveport Bossier City When The Zombies Come!

I'm a huge fan of the Walking Dead which is coming back very soon, so naturally this is something I think about everywhere I go! Here is my list of the best places to go when the zombies arrive!

Bass Pro Shop in Bossier City

Bass Pro Shop on the Boardwalk is my first thought for many reasons - because of size, location and what they have in the store! The height of the building would give the perfect outlook over the surrounding area for security reasons. Being right on the river would help with transportation and food/water source. But most importantly would be the gun/crossbow supply, boats and all the other supply sources inside the building.

C.E. Byrd High School

Now if you aren't afraid of ghosts this would be a perfect zombie fallout location! Byrd High School not only would give you a strong sturdy places to live but it has a bomb shelter in the basement. The basement is known as the "catacombs," which has been rumored to be haunted.  Luckily, as far as we know ghosts cannot become zombies!

Crosslake

A short drive from the city -  Crosslake could be a good option to get away from the zombies. It's away from the "hot zones," and has a huge food and water supply. However, it might be difficult to see them coming through the woods, so a fence would be necessary.

Barksdale Air Force Base

For obvious reasons Barksdale would be a safe place to go - it's the home of the strongest fighting force the earth has ever seen! Also, being close to the river and a large supply of planes to help transport people away from danger would be huge!
