Which Car Brand Has Dumbest Drivers?

Now let me start by saying these results are in no way accurate after considering the ONE stat they used to create the list.

Jalopnik set out to find the car brand with the dumbest drivers, so what do they do? Investigate number of stupid wrecks per brand? No. Research the average IQ of car owners? No.

In fact, they probably used the CRAZIEST way to get their answers.

They chose to see how many people googled the word "Bumber" instead of "Bumper". They chose that word because it's clearly not a typo since the B and the P are no where near each other on a keyboard. So to make that mistake, you have to legitimately believe that it's spelled "Bumber". To separate the brands, they researched google searches using the brand's name followed by the word "Bumber".

Pretty funny, now let's see the results!

Based on their one metric, the dumbest car-owners drive Volkswagens, and it won by a pretty large margin. The next five dumbest are Chevrolet, Lincoln, Cadillac, and Lamborghini.

Car owners who drive Infiniti's were the smartest in this study.

So if you own an Infiniti, congrats, you probably know how to spell "Bumper".
