He didn't have the nerve to touch on the subject here in the US, but Patrick Dempsey told a reporter for the Italian "Vanity Fair" that the upcoming season of "Grey's Anatomy" will be his last. The magazine quotes him as saying, "I do not know what's going to happen to the other characters, but for me it's done." He also said that leaving would be bittersweet because it's been such a great part of his life, but he just can't see himself doing it any more. Can "Grey's" survive without Dr. McDreamy??? Patrick's publicist says hold up a minute. Patrick's contract is up at the end of next season and there's been no decision yet on whether or not he'll be back. That was either lost in translation or we can all assume that if the money is right, Dr. McDreamy will keep on keeping on.
