Who’s The Highest Paid ‘American Idol’ Winner?

As American Idol gets ready to call it a day, we thought it'd be fun to find out of all the show's past winners, which one is making the most bank? It may not be who you think.

We all know that past Idol champs including Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood have gone on to spectacularly successful careers, but the big winner is Adam Lambert, who earned a whopping $10 million according to Forbes magazine for his work as frontman for Queen during their tour last year.

Last year's winner, Carrie Underwood fell from first to second this year earning $8 million, while Chris Daughtry and his self-titled band racked up $6 million in 2014.

Phillip Phillips came in fourth with $5 million, and Scotty McCreery tied with Kelly Clarkson for fifth with $4 million each.
