Maxwell and Mary J. Blige are on tour together for the first time this year. It’s the King and Queen of Hearts World Tour and it’s set to kick off on November 5 in Baltimore, Maryland in the US, following a dozen European dates in the early fall. The tour will make a stop in Bossier City at the CenturyLink Center on December 11.

Maxwell praises Blige as the “epitome of soul” and the voice of women’s struggle and triumphs. Blige also has a fondness of Maxwell and says he has a gift for speaking to the hearts of women and making them feel loved. Maxwell will be promoting his album, blackSummers’night, which came out in July. Blige is close to finishing her 14th studio album. She has racked up 50 million in album sales, nine Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.
