All work and all play makes Wiz Khalifa a very wealthy rapper. That sums up his new single, ‘Work Hard Play Hard.’ The song is from his second album ‘O.N.I.F.C.,’ which is due out this summer. The synth-heavy anthem was produced by Stargate and Benny Blanco who blessed Wizzy with his chart-topping hit ‘Black and Yellow.’

At the beginning of the song, Wiz starts flaunting about the luxurious things he now owns. “Diamonds all on my brain n—a / Gold watches, gold chain n—a / Yeah, my money insane n—a,” he brags.

However, it’s the track’s infectious chorus that should have listeners unconsciously repeating it to themselves. “The bigger the bill, the harder you ball / Well, I’m throwin’ mine ’cause my money long / The quicker you’re here, the faster you go / That’s why where I come from the only thing we know is,” rap-sings Wiz.

But Wiz spits more than just materialistic rhymes, he also gives a motivational pep talk near the end of the track. “Go hard. Make sure you do whatever is that you gotta do that’s your job / And n—as are going to hate but that’s no prob,” he states.

Wiz will perform ‘Work Hard Play Hard’ this summer on his Under the Influence of Music tour with fellow Pittsburgh rapper Mac Miller. Rap newcomers Kendrick Lamar, Chevy Woods and School Boy Q are the opening acts on the trek, which kicks off July 25, and wraps up Aug. 5 in Detroit.
