Woman Killed After 12-Year-Old Attempts Suicide, Jumps On Her Car [VIDEO]

22-year-old Marisa Harris was killed when a 12-year-old boy attempted suicide by jumping off an overpass.

Harris was traveling on Interstate 66 in her Ford Escape when the 12-year-old boy landed on top of her vehicle, this according to Virginia State Police.

WRC-TV reports that while Harris was left "incapacitated," the boy survived and is being treated for life-threatening injuries. Harris' boyfriend was a passenger in the vehicle and allegedly steered the vehicle to the side of the road, another sad detail in this tragic story.

Harris died at the scene. Her family members say she was a graduate student at Marymount University, studying clinical counseling.

Police are investigating the incident as a suicide.
