You’ve Never Actually Heard the Real Monster Mash

So we all know the classic Halloween song the "Monster Mash"... But you've never actually heard the real "Moster Mash"! The classic hit we all know is a song written about a song heard when the singer was working late in his lab one night. Now yes there is a dance along with the song but the dance is to the actual song!

The writer and original singer of the song Bobby Pickett died in 2007 so this question will never be answered but it has the internet freaking out! The song mentions a group playing music called "The Crypt-Kicker Five" but we have no idea if they're the ones playing the Mash or just another group playing during the party.

So maybe we aren't supposed to know the song...
