Two people have died in an early morning collision on the interstate in west Shreveport.

I-20 was closed for about four hours overnight after a deadly crash. It happened at about midnight on I-20 westbound near Greenwood. Two vehicles were involved in a crash that left 2 people dead.

A KTBS employee saw a car traveling east in the westbound lane at about 12:10 this morning. There's no word yet if that vehicle may have been a part of this wreck.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on I-20 westbound and blocked off all westbound traffic for about 4 hours. The interstate is now back open.
