Jack Bauer has re-emerged in London as the ticking clock and high-octane saga returns to your television. "24: Live Another Day" promises another pulse-pounding season.

"24: Live Another Day" returns to your living room tonight. This season is set and shot in London following the exploits of the heroic agent, Jack Bauer (played by Kiefer Sutherland). Bauer was a fugitive from justice four years ago, but quickly jumps at the opportunity to put his life on the line yet again if it means averting another global disaster.

He is being tracked by CIA head Steve Navarro (played by Benjamin Bratt); and CIA agent Kate Morgan (played by Yvonne Srahovski). Others on the hunt for Bauer include CIA computer tech Jordan Reed (played by Giles Matthey); and field operative Erik Ritter (played by Gbenga Akinnagbe).

The man calling all the shots is the new President of the United States James Heller (played by William Devane). Heller has the help of his Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (played by Tate Donovan), who is now married to Jack's former love and daughter of Heller, Audrey (played by Kim Raver).

Bauer's CTU confidante, Chloe O'Brian (played by Mary Lynn Rajskub) is now working underground with high-profile hacker Adrian Cross (played by Michael Wincott).

The clock is ticking for Bauer to attempt to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever.

"24: Live Another Day" airs tonight at 7 p.m. on FOX.

About the Show

"24" originally premiered November 2001 and ran for eight seasons. The thriller was nominated for a total of 73 Emmy Awards and won Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Sutherland was nominated for seven Emmy Awards and won Outstanding Lead Actor for a Drama Series.

The series was also nominated for 12 Golden Globe Awards and won Best Television Series in the Drama category in 2004. Sutherland also won Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series for a Drama in 2002.

The last episode for "24" aired in May 2010.
