Just a ride down Airline Drive from 2nd & Charles is a new Books-A-Million store, which some might already know is the same company that runs 2nd & Charles. It looks like the used books store has been replaced with a new bookstore. But the loss still stings because, unlike 2nd & Charles, there are no video games or trade-ins at B-A-M.
2nd & Charles still has a few weeks left in Bossier City. The store announced on social media that their final day will be sometime in mid-October 2025.
