3-Day ‘Christmas in Candyville’ Coming to Bossier City
The sweets at Christmas are the best! Sure, the gigantic dinner is awesome - and the presents are great - but for me, the treats are right there at the top of the list. OK, technically remembering exactly what the holiday is about and spending time with your family are the top 2 best things. That being said, cookies, cakes, pies, and candy are a solid number 3.
This weekend in Bossier City, you can have the entire Holiday top 3 at once! Just bring your family to the Centurylink Center and talk about how much you love baby Jesus at Christmas in Candyville! This 3-day event promises to be filled to the brim with yule-time goodies perfect for stockings, candy dishes, desserts, or on-the-spot "sampling."
The event will be set up like a giant board game, and those in attendance will act as the game tokens as they move from area to area. Experience different levels of delicious holiday bliss as you traverse the borders between the Gummy Gallery, Cake Pop Shop, Camp Candy Corn, Gingerbread Gymnasium, Jawbreaker Junction, Pop Rock & Roll Theater, Mentos Mines, and Peppermint Palace.
The tickets are only $10 a piece. Lots of activities and crafts are planned, and you can even take a photo with Mrs. Santa. Her husband, on the other hand, is a terrible baker and is otherwise engaged. He is not expected to attend.
