Spending the Holidays alone can be tough.  But, you don't have to do it on an empty stomach.  Here are 5 delicious places to grab the traditional(ish) Thanksgiving meal on Thursday.

The CB is bringing the tradition for gobble-fest with a menu stuffed with goodness!  Dine on turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, turnip greens, green beans, corn, carrots, pecan pie, chocolate pecan pie, pumpkin pie, apple streusel, and a no-sugar added apple pie.  They'll be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving and a turkey dinner with 3 sides will only set you back a 10 spot.

Once again, tradition rules the day, and the 3 Denny's SBC locations do it proud!  Let them carve up some turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, broccoli, zucchini, corn, pecan pie and pumpkin pie. It's an all day affair at Denny's and a dinner featuring turkey with stuffing, two sides, cranberry sauce and garlic bread will once again cost you a crisp Hamilton ($10).

This delicious little gem is right down the street from my home sweet home at the Villaggio apartments in Bossier City.  Expect some down home turkey and dressing, cornbread, candied yams, baby carrots, sweet peas, mashed potatoes, broccoli rice casserole, glazed pit ham, pot roast, chicken fried steak, sweet potato, pumpkin pie. This belly buster will be serving it up starting at 10 a.m. and will continue to do so until it's all gone! You plate will be packed with meat and three sides, dessert, choice of bread for about $14.

This is by far the priciest entry on the list, but the best option to "Treat Yo-Self!"  The high-end menu is stacked -  oven-roasted turkey, prime rib, honey-glazed bone-in ham, loaded smashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, braised cabbage, braised green beans with carmelized onions, steamed baby carrots with pineapple glaze, cornbread dressing with giblet gravy, cranberry pecan tart, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin mousse, poached apples and pears and more. Got to get this one quick on turkey-day as the hours are only 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It also fills up fast and you need a reservation, so if you are going to give fancy thanks - call 800-895-0711 and bring at least $50.

This could be my favorite on the list!  I love the Ralph and Kacoo's style and atmosphere, and for Thanksgiving - they've definitely brought extra of both.  Feast on Cajun fried turkeys, southern cornbread dressing and giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, signature homemade side dishes, plus great pies and desserts (like the world-famous bread pudding) and have access to the entire regular menu!  The adult platter rings in under $16 for adults and under $9 for kids.  You can also order a Whole Cajun fried turkey to take home and eat in front of the TV while you watch the game. `#noshame

So if you are unable to travel home next week, or simply want to avoid the mess - have a happy Thanksgiving!  Please eat responsibly.
