The City of Shreveport just got another gift from award-winning hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson in the form of community outreach. 50 Cent's G-Unity Foundation is bringing its Business Lab program to our city to teach the youth of Shreveport the same hustle that made 50 million.

The G-Unity Foundation was founded by 50 Cent and other members of G-Unit in 2005. The private charity has undertaken numerous public initiatives. Still, the G-Unity Business Lab program is specifically focused on teaching high-school students in underserved communities the skills necessary for an entrepreneurial mindset.

Throughout the year-long program, the G-Unity Business Lab teaches students ways to discover and hone in on their talents, how to use technology to get a step ahead, and strategies to adapt in an ever-changing world.

50 announced that the Business Lab program is coming to Shreveport in an Instagram post, and because 50 is gonna do what he does best, it was also a shot at his haters.

The program originally was created in partnership with the Houston Independent School District, but as seen in the Instagram post made by 50 Cent, the Shreveport program will likely be partnered with Northwestern State University.

The arrival of the G-Unity Business Lab in Shreveport is great news for the communities of Shreveport. As 50 Cent is working to bring G-Unit Studios to the city with plans to create a new Hollywood in Louisiana, the Business Lab will be yet another massive help to the community of Shreveport. Hopefully, the program will become a regular occurrence in Shreveport, giving a helping hand to students in the city who need it.
