A Friend Going On A Mission Trip Needs Help [Listener Email]

I got an email from a friend named Camy who is going on a mission trip who can use some monetary help. If you can help I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

An opportunity has come up for me to go on a Missions trip to Brazil this July, reaching Brazilian youth through the ministry of Brazil Youth for Christ. I will be working at a camp with a group in Belo  Horizonte. There I will either help teach an English only camp for Brazilian youth, or help remodel the kitchen and dining room of the camp (Depending on what they assign me).

I will be participating in a Brazilian Church service and working with children from Project Love Ministry for a day of sports, crafts, lunch, and Biblical stories. I have been to Mexico but this will be my first time traveling so far outside the U.S.A.

My flight will leave from Miami, Fl and then directly to Rio de Janeiro then we will travel on to the YFC camp where we will be sleeping and having our meals. We will also have the opportunity to visit different places in the city of Belo Horizonte, as well as a day in Ouro Preto. I am very excited for this trip. I really love the Latino/Hispanic culture (I feel drawn to them) this would also be a great way for me to learn another language and immerse myself in another culture. What a great learning experience and spiritual as well.

I can’t make it to Brazil on my own though. I have to raise $3,000.00. The money covers travel, tourism, food, lodging and funds for construction materials. I ask that you pray for me to be able to go on this trip and if it is on your heart to donate whatever amount you can.
