For the Past Four Years Shreveport Has Been Asking, "Where Has the Pizzaletta Gone?"

There have been several broken hearts throughout the Ark-LaTex. Like crawfish is to Mudbug Madness, and beer is to Brew, and wine is to Cork, the Pizzaletta is a staple to The Red River Revel.

For the past 47 years, people all over Shreveport-Bossier have flocked to the Revel for the music, the art, and the delicious food. There is one item that many of us love, it's the perfect mix of a Louisiana staple a muffuletta, and a pizza. My friend Hillary describes a Pizzaletta as "harmony in your mouth". However, the Pizzaletta has been absent from the Revel since 2020.

St. Joseph Catholic School has brought back a time-honored tradition. St. Joseph Catholic School is letting you show your support by ordering a gourmet Pizzaletta.

St. Joseph Catholic School described the Pizzaletta as "A pizza crust piled high with layers of salami, ham, olive mix, and cheese topped with another pizza crust and MORE CHEESE." Doesn't that sound delicious?

Did you know that each Pizzaletta weighs more than 5 lbs and makes 8 large slices? You can order a quarter, half, or whole. Each pizza will be sold ready to heat and eat with cooking instructions. Several people plan to buy more than one because they freeze well.

You must order by October 21st, a whole 16" Pizzaletta is $70.00 and the pickup dates are October 25th and October 26th. You can click here for more information.
