Turns out that ABC is keeping it in the family by announcing that Jimmy Kimmel will occupy the co-host's chair Monday, May 16.

The search for a new permanent co-host is expected to kick-off this summer, and names such as Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen have been bandied about, but a final decision will be announced around August.
