Why Are So Many Daqs Wings Locations Shutting Down?

The Bossier City Daqs shut down and many employees claimed it was because the rent was too high. One Daqs location in West Shreveport didn't last long either. What is happening with all these remodeled Daqs locations suddenly closing their doors?

The Daqs Wings & Grill on Youree Took to Their Facebook Page to Announce the Closure.

They simply posted a picture of the eatery and said, "We will unfortunately be closing Daqs Youree today. Thank you to all our amazing guests friends and family for your continued support. Please come see us at Daqs on the Loop soon."

The Daqs Location Closing Down on Pines Road Was a Huge Shock to Shreveport.

West Shreveport desperately needs more options when it comes to lunch and May of 2022 was an exciting time for several folks in West Shreveport that go out to lunch. Daq's opened up right off of I20. There were big hopes and dreams for the wing and daiquiri spot. The Daqs team put a lot of thought and effort into that location. They had a large covered patio with huge fans that was supposed to be a place to enjoy live music and they added tv's all over to make it a destination to cheer on your favorite team. Daq's Wings and Grill on Pines had the same menu as their other locations. Every time you stepped into Daq's on Pines for lunch the place was busy. If the place was so busy why did they unexpectedly shut down? Why did the Youree Drive location shut down?
