Lindsay Lohan is a free woman yet again. She entered a not guilty plea for the felony theft charge, but has to return to court on February 23rd for another hearing. She is working with her lawyers to work out a plea deal with the judge and avoid the D.A. altogether. This way she could work out a longer probation period and would not be allowed to get into trouble for a year. The jewelry store owner says that he is upset about the charges, but reveals that Lindsay tried walking out with a diamond earring just days before taking the necklace. This could work in her favor because Lindsay left her more expensive earrings on the counter and almost walked out the door before an employee reminded her that she was still wearing the earring. Lindsay is claiming that she doesn't have a problem with stealing, she is simply absentminded.

As one Simpson sister prepares for marriage, another takes steps towards her divorce. Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from Pete Wentz, citing irreconcilable differences. This was apparently completely one-sided and Pete didn't want this at all. Ashlee apparently couldn't take Pete's erratic behavior anymore. She made a conscious effort to be a mom and step out of the spotlight, but Pete continued touring and that became an issue. In the divorce papers Ashlee is requesting primary physical custody of Bronx. This weekend Pete was spotted having a blast in Dallas, still wearing his wedding ring!

Why do NFL quarterbacks like their girls so young? Let's ask Jet's QB Mark Sanchez, who is at the center of rumors that he has an affair with a 17 year old girl. The girl who's name is Eliza met Mark at a club and says that he hooked up with her immediately. She then proceeded to take pictures of his apartment as proof that she was there. Once Eliza admitted her age to him, he told her he couldn't see her until she turned 18. Mark is denying the allegations altogether. Unfortunately for Mark, the girl claims that she is going to release text messages to prove it. The Jet's are have said that they refuse to comment on player's personal lives.

The honeymoon may be over for Russell Brand and Katy Perry. A source has come forward reporting that the 2 are already seeking marriage counseling just 3 months into the marriage! In January, Katy started asking friends to recommend a marriage counselor. Another source from the set of Arthur, which Russell is doing re-shoots for, claims that Katy was around all the time last summer during filming, but hasn't come around once lately. Looks like their schedules are tearing them apart!
