Baltimore Protester Busts A Move To ‘Beat It’ (VIDEO)

We've all seen the disturbing footage of the violence that took place in Baltimore following the funeral of Freddie Gray, who died of a severe spinal injury while in police custody, but one citizen decided to try to put a positive spin on the tragedy. Dimitri Reeves decided to channel his energy into dancing, not violence, when he showed off some sick moves to the Michael Jackson classic Beat It.

One Twitter user posted, "This guy has literally waited his entire life for this moment." It was, without a doubt, worth the wait. He definitely selected this song on purpose because its lyrics resonate with what is happening in the Maryland city. "You're playin' with your life / This ain't no truth or dare / They'll kick you, then they beat you, then they'll tell you it's fair/ So beat it."

Reeves himself made a post shortly after the video went viral, which read, "Spread love and peace never violence....." Let's hope that message reaches a lot more people.
